Leadership

Dr. Cox is a music professor at MBU and has been in co-vocational ministry throughout his life. Before planting CPC he served as the worship pastor at Fellowship of Wildwood (our sending church).  He has a Bachelors in Music Education from MBU (Go Spartans!), a masters in Religion in Worship Studies , and a PhD in Music Education. He has the great privilege of serving with his amazing wife, Kasey, who is the Director of Theatre and Dance at MBU, and has three of the cutest kids on the planet: Noah, Jobi, and Katy.

Lance is a husband to Sarah and dad to Asher, Faith, and Audra. He is a technology consultant by day with a passion for the local church. Having attended College Park's sending church, Fellowship of Wildwood (formerly First Baptist Ellisville) for thirty-five years, he has served in leadership, children, youth, and adult ministries, as a deacon, and as volunteer technical director. Lance blends his business background with ministry by serving churches in leadership and strategic planning. He holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and is currently pursuing a Master's of Theological Studies in Church Planting and a Master's of Divinity in Leadership.
